Hi everyone!
I'm about to do the body on the carbon fxx from scale motorsport and I need some help.
I bought model master primer, black lacquer, and ultra gloss clearcoat (also lacquer).
Are the carbon decals compatable with these paints? I dont have good, quick access to tamiya paints and I dont airbrush. These were the best I could get.
Thanks,
Mike.

Is the model master primer enamel? If so, don't use it under the Lacquer. When in doubt, test on something. Also, don't "settle" for just what you can find. There must be an automotive type paint & body supply locally,or at least explore the usual big box auto stores like autozone,Pep Boys etc.Get some Plasticote or Dupli-color primer,

I'd ask Mathew at SMS. Short of that, if there is any extra film on the decal sheet, apply it as you will on the car and test. You can also apply the decals and a coat of Future to protect them.
