Thanks Gerry, one more question. Does the PE set come with model?

No, needs to be ordered separately. I also have the Fujimi Aventador (sorry I got it given the Aoshima) and Hobby Design PE for it. I will eventually explore how good the PE aimed for the Fujimi works or complements the Aoshima set

I think its HLJ has a P/E set for it around $10 or so, that is one of cheaper ones, I think the one Gerry bought was around $50 IIRC for it.

Will you be getting the HRE "Vintage" Wheels from FG Models??

Aoshima's PE set that exotics has, should retail for between $20-25us.

I can't seem to find anyone who sells the "Japan Only" full engine version. I've e-mailed HLJ and they didn't have any info.
I wish Aoshima offered just the full engine sprues as an upgrade for us. That gives us the option.

HLJ sells the "Japan Only" version, it's the only one they sell.

Ok thanks J.... It looked like the box art for the Japanese Version was different from the HLJ...i thought that HLJ was the international version......I will order from HLJ

Yup. That's what I got from HLJ. Think the Japanese kit is number 7 in the plain white box, where the international version is number 8 in the mostly green Italian flag-bordered package.

Bear in mind that the "full engine" is still simplified, about 12 pieces with no representation of the sump or transmission; probably drops in where the one-piece insert goes in the international one. The exhaust manifolds and valve covers uncompromised by draft angle are probably the big selling points.

Even with its body sink marks and its limited use of sliding molds, it's still got a decisive edge over that other Aventador kit. Factor in the price advantage, and Brand X pretty well gets murdered here.

Nope. I don't actually like those wheels.

HLJ sells the "Japan Only" version, it's the only one they sell.

That is the one I ordered from HLJ and the PE set was a separate item. There was no option.
