I've got this one back on the bench now and I decided to tackle the front suspension. upper and lower control arms and spindles are scratchbuilt out of aluminum tubing. I still need to make a rack and pinion setup and coilovers. I also decided to use the center of a Corvette ZR1 Hood and part of it's engine cover to bring some shape into the boring flat hood.

Thanks Kerry!

I already have the colors for this build, I have access to a DuPont mixing system at work so I'm able to mix pretty much any color I want. I do plan on using HOK sometime though since I've heard nothing but good things about their products.
Great job so far,Alot of scratchbuilting.
Thanks, This is the most scratchbuilding I've ever done on one project.

it is definitely a yacht or at least a large speed boat lol, this is the longest model car I currently have. It doesn't even fit into my display case!
That's cool!
Looks Great so far!!!
Thank you!

Thanks John! Your builds are always great to watch.

Thanks, I was worried about the hood looking out of place on this body since the scoop had some sharp edges and the body is nothing but curves but so far I'm happy with it. I think it helps bring some shape into the front.
very nice work you are doing on the caddy!
Thanks Bill! Your Cuda build is what inspired me to finally tackle the aluminum suspension parts.
