1964 Pontiac GTO

Kit is the recent reissue '64 GTO - paint is Duplicolor primer and Duplicolor dark cherry red metallic. It is built to represent a "burnout machine" - the kind of car somebody has that is in construction, but meanwhile, is darn good at wasting tires.
Engine is a 615 Chevy big block from the Revell 55 Chevy Pro Sportsman kit - borrowed some parts from the parts bin (manifold, front cover, headers, etc) - painted Pontiac engine blue from Model Master.

That is very cool, love the steelies and whitewalls. What's with the mirror way out on the fender?
Thanks for the comments.
The mirror - I was going to hang it traditional style but found a few reference pictures like this this:
I liked the non-traditional look. The side mirrors were optional in 1964 as far as I could tell, so they were mounted in different spots, even on the door.
