Hi, has the International Transtar CO-4070-A ever been reissued. It was first in the series by Ertl and it has round headlights (without the square trim) The decals have a 1977 date on them, I guess that is when it came out.

I got one at a local club meeting, somone was selling their old stuff.

I don't think so, I believe I heard that they messed up the molds to make the B model. It's a shame since the A model has that cool air ride rear.

That kit was originally released somewhere around 72 or 73. The b version also had that air ride the first few years before being changed to the walking beam. Yes the molds were ruined to make the b version. Other than the exhaust and air cleaner as well as the dash and bumper and some small details it's essentialy the same kit.The interior other than the dash is from the a version. I have seen some b models back dated to a models and they come out fine. There are some pics here on the forum. To answer the original question, no it has not been rereleased.
