[Pullin Gears]

Built this one pretty much stock. It was lowered on billet wheels found in the revell 93 Mustang Cobra kit. I did not put the 454 SS decals on the bed because they had yellowed, plus it looks cleaner without them.

The interior recieved a coat of flat red with flocked floorboards and door panels. Hand painted guages as well as a re-shaped shifter ball and scratch-built seatbelts were also added.

The motor was built stock, but painted Chevy engine orange with the addition of plug wires.

Out back the Chevy got bedcoated and a bodycolor rear bumper. Paint is Testor's gloss black.

Nice looking truck. The bed lining is a particularly cool touch, and I like the clean detail painting in the engine bay, but....blue brake fluid?

That it is one killer clean Chevy pickup. I love these big trucks slammed. I once owned a 1500 ext cab with the extra long bed bagged on 20s. Wish I still had it but man gas was costly. Anyways nice job on the build, nothing like a slammed truck.

Which kit is that? I have a 96 1500 and have been wanting to build a model of my truck for a loooong time, now. Any modifications bseides what you have already done, like modify the cab? Day cab, or extended when you first started? Thanks.

This was an AMT/Ertl kit of the 454 SS C1500.It comes as a standard cab-short bed. I did not shorten the cab or bed. The grill is for like a 91-93. You could rob a grill from a newer chevy truck kit or promo, I know they released them with the newer dashes and chrome grills.

Nice looking little Chevy truck! It looks good setting down low like it is. You may want to add your radiator hose and alternator though.

This is very nice Pickup, especially when it's bit higher than the factory stock. The lowered stance and those wheels doesn't fit into my mind, but it's very nicely done! Fantastic paint job and very clean overall look too. Just add the upper radiator hose and it's ready to be driven!
