Hey roger this is on my bench right now but can't figure the color out i have done a few spoon test with the tamiya metalic green the closest, but don't want to use it cause it's metalic and meatalic wasn't used on the origional,, what color did you use if you don't mind me askingWith a new born baby in the house this is going to take awhile.

Thanks bill i will get a can and see what it looks like i really didn't think it was a metalic paint with the pictures i got thanks againThe color is in fact a fine metallic color. Factory paint code was 97 .
I have a can of Testors One Coat Lacquer in Mystic Emerald green , although I've not done a close up match to the OE color chip.
I think it looks prety close to the cars original color. And unless I find something better it's what I plan to use.

hey bill i used tamiya TS-20 for the test with white and grey primer i'm kinda leaning the way with the white primer but they are both so close

I agree with Bill the restored car has a metallic look to it.
Even all the photos I have of Rallye Green cars vary from car to car.
I went with Tamiya TS 35 Park Green to go with the decals.
I had to use a dark gray primer, then a white primer to kill the orange plastic.
I will have to wait to see how it all works out.
