Richard, you could teach several here as to how to make a garage look realistic . I've been a member here for years and I'm always seeing these "Super Sanitary garages ". I dunno about you , but the only time I ever saw a clean shop was when I visited Mr. A J Foyt's place years ago .
thnx actually i just recently started real weathering and sort of found my way into this .. what i found out on the garage is that it pays of to paint matt blkack shadowlines along all the beems , and all stuff in the garage , some dont show right away but thats the main thing fot me that i found really helped to give it a nicer feel ..
and i'm not a expert by far still learning so much new stuff
and yes i just love the older dirty garage's so much more then clean and sterile ones .. i have seen a number of places irl where they looked soemwhat similair to this.
now a dealers garage for maintenence wont look as dirty off-course
but i do want to build a clean one in the future , not real big like this but more one suited for taking pics of my models in
Health n safety would tell you off you dont have a hand rail going up the staircase!
yes i know and still planning to make that handrail ......
didnt come to start that yet
Richard you could try applying license plate decals to aluminum foil, then cutting them out and either bending or denting them, plus putting the screw holes in them, and then mounting them to either a wall or onto a model. Just a hint.
now thats really a great idea , thnx !!!!!!!!! you know what i have like this roll of aluminum tape its real thick and really aluminum , ususally i used that for fixing parts on for paint but that stuff is perfect if i bend that it just stays in that shape , it almost bends like brass tubes and stays .. oh yes you gave me a awsome idea !!!
Wow Richard, I am just speechless.
thnx !!!
