The timing of the '49 Mercury, '57 Fords, late '50s/early '60s SITM Vette, and '50 Olds diecast is a bit peculiar, or maybe it makes perfect sense.
I'm a bit disappointed to see the '33 Willys won't be in an original style box, and the faux retro '69 Olds box art (I don't think AMT ever released that version) just looks weird to me.
I don't see a built-up 1/16 Petty clear bodied Charger, either, so maybe that kit won't appear until late 2013 or 2014 now? Looks like the '40 Ford coupe is a no go, too.

Gotta agree that the iHobby show is not about plastic model cars, and without Revell, there is very little to see there. I enjoyed walking around the show back when it was in Chicago, but figured out years ago it was about many hobbies and not just my addiction to plastic models.

(was Lindberg even there ??).
I saw J. Lloyd listed on a previous attendee list, but the latest list doesn't show them, so they probably didn't attend. Not good.

I was suprised at this as well. I spoke with Doug Ridge about a week ago and he assured me the Petty Charger was still on track, even though it is not yet pictured on the site. They intend to have it out for Christmas. The Petty Torino has not been fixed (i.e. the sloping front fenders) and is a straight re-issue. No other NASCAR stockers are planned at this time.I don't see a built-up 1/16 Petty clear bodied Charger, either, so maybe that kit won't appear until late 2013 or 2014 now? Looks like the '40 Ford coupe is a no go, too.
I'll have to ask about Christine. I knew the kit was planned but I don't know if the trim or fenders have been re-worked or not. Personally, I don't think there was a need for another Monkeemobile...unless there's some tribute aspect in memory ov Davy.

no lindberg either how could you push the model car hobby if you dont have the companys come and aftermarket stuff too Don Yoast was there selling vidsIf you've never been to an iHobby show before I can understand how the limited amount of model cars could be a shock but I've been to the show several times and without Revell there would be little reason to go. The big question is, what reissues is Round 2 coming out with ??? That is really the only news here, I wasn't expecting anything new from AMT/MPC or Lindberg (was Lindberg even there ??).

Is that a corrected body on the '58 Plymouth??? Or are my eyes deceiving me?
The trim appears straighter than the last issue...................
Sorry, your eyes are deceiving you. The kit on display came from an AMT/Ertl box; the only modification was the removal of the Belvedere script from the rear quarters.

glad to see the 49 comming back the willys and the 40 in the big box will be like the gremlin with a poster iwas told the manaray i didnt get any info on sorry also if i understood the guy the c600 was just a airbrush fill in it will have the same cab as the other c600 but i might be wrong.
I really hope you are wrong, I'd love to get a kit of the older 53-56 C series. If this is a box art mistake it is a huge one like putting a 1960 Corvette on the box for a 1970 Corvette kit.
