You can't beat a "trip" to Happy Hobby. They're how I imagine a hobby store in Mexico. Can't decide on which one is craziest.

Yeah, they're great stores and we're lucky to have them. Lord knows I've supported($) both stores over the years.Nice stores??? They are "great" stores as they are my "FAVE" hobby shops, and I know both of the owners as well.

Ooo, nice to know. I drive by there from time to time and it looks a bit run down and overwhelmed on the inside. Don't think I'll be stopping anytime soon....

Don't know if the one up on North 76th is open anymore. The one on Burleigh...you'd have to ask Casey about that one. I just remember in the 80's to early 90's Dennis had buckets to catch water from roof leaks all over the place and the aisles were about 2ft wide WITH kits on the floor. The one on National Ave has roof leaks and mold. Plus a bad musty/moldy smell. I'd stay away from their stores especially if you have respiratory problems and a light wallet.Ooo, nice to know. I drive by there from time to time and it looks a bit run down and overwhelmed on the inside. Don't think I'll be stopping anytime soon....

The Happy Hobby on 84th & National burned last night, New Years eve. Sound business decision, if you ask me.
