I hope I'm not the only one who noticed that woody in the back.Looks like a Merc,should be A LOT cheaper then any modsquad version you find out there.

Does the Merc woody come with a stock body?

I believe it does but as it stands now it will have the Caddy engine from the 49 Mercury custom kit.

Saw that...no biggie, the AMT '49 Merc is easy enough to source an engine from.

I really hope the 49 Merc will come with a separate, all stock coupe body... As much as I like woodies for being something different, I cannot see myself painting all that wood and making it look realistic.

Tower Hobbies has a 49 Merc wagon listed as a May 2013 release.
Anybody know anything about this?

I will have to get one of these, painting all the wood is going to be tricky job, but worth having a go at it ...
