Here's a video update of the progress. I think this one might actually fail completely, but we'll see . . . so it goes with some crazy paint jobs . . . right now I am still working with the candy and some of the graphics . . .

LOL, thanks Bryan and Jerome. I am making progress. This is one of the toughest (but also fun) paint jobs I have had to do since those H.R. Geiger Mercs. Stay tuned in for more progress.

Looks cool so far Virgil! The wheels/tires you have are from the '50 Ford F-1 2n1,not the '66 Chevelle wagon. I have a set also waiting for the right project. They are a sharp looking wheel for sure!

I know you have seen this, but I've built 4-6 of these and enjoy'ed every one. This is a clean and nicely done kit for the imagination!

Making progress on all the other parts. The paint is finished and cleared and now I am just waiting for final assembly.

So far this kit has not fought me at all. I was expecting the front suspension to do so since I modified the wheels spindles to drop the model a few scale inches, but it hasn't . . . not yet . . .

Here are all the components, including the body which still needs to be polished and shined up.

This paint job has grown on me a little and it looks real nice in the sun light, but we'll see how it turns out once it is assembled.

In the meantime, I really like a project when it's at this stage before completion:

WOW! That looks fantastic! Great colors, great effects. Why the purple on the rear piece?

Because the rear end has purple in it and I wanted to convey a sense of all that electricity cooling off. LOL.
