Computer graphic modeling!
The artist creates a three sided line drawing and then inputs the dimensions... locates key points and the computer draws it in 3D. Then it is colored and texturized by choosing from a pallet of colors and textures. There is also a mirad of special effects that can be included and what is really neat is the image can be rotated left and right, up or down. Very cool!
Of course it requires a lot of input per piece.... maybe 8 to 10 hours each but the results are breathless... even if a bit fantastic.
