What company and what year is the kit you are working on? I had a 1/8 Corvette back in the 80's. I don't recall a whole lot of 1/8 kits since then.

This is the Monogram kit, originally issued in `85 or `86. I don`t remember seeing them on the shelves back them, so I think it was a pretty rare kit.

See first post for pics.

That's excellent looking Camaro. Just what I've been planning to my first 1:1 car. It could pass real car, if photographed on asphalt road or something like that. I can't believe how someone can make that nice paint jobs, too! I've been polishing my '57 Chrysler today for long time, and it still looks like matte finish if compared to this one.

Stunning as usual David!! Every time I see one of your big scale models, it makes me want to go out and buy one and give it a try. Excellent work all around!

Wow, it looks real. I've built the 83 z28 but always have trouble with the large scale. You obviously don't, looking forward to seeing mor from you.

Thanks again everyone! If you can swing the price of the kit, it is definitely worth it, IMO. I managed to get one of mine back when you could find it on the shelves for $50 or so about 10 years ago.

David, I had to come back and look at this build...I just bought one on eBay today for $108. It's opened and it was started a little but was disassembled and bagged up. I can't wait to get this! Yours is my inspiration, even though I don't have the first clue as to what colors and such I wanna do.
