This is a Holden HQ custom step side from the movie 'The Chain Reaction' (1980).

It's built from a Holden HQ sedan resin body that i cut in half and the stepside tray is from the Ford Courier kit. The holden is 1/24 and the courier 1/25, so there is a size difference, so i widened the tray 2mm. the rest of the car came from the spares box.

The paintwork was the hardest part, masking five colours.

Finally finished, apart from the rear step bumper, which i seem to have misplaced.

That turned out really well. Like the idea & the look. Nice job on those paint graphics, not easy to do. Very cool.
