greymack
Well after farting around with many paint removal products and using good old faithful remover I did notice some residue .So I put the model parts to soak in dish wash soap as I always do and that didn't work so I use Simple Green as a soaking bath.I found that stuff to work awesome even for cleaning residue off resin parts .Well hope that helps someone. charlie8575
If Dawn dish soap is available in Canada (or some other grease-targeting dish soap,) try that. For curiosity, George, what are you using? Charlie Larkin
Ace-Garageguy
The absolute BEST BEST BEST method I've found for post-stripping cleaning is a scrub with warm water, Comet or similar abrasive cleanser, and a toothbrush. It gets in all the crevices, removes any stripper residue, and leaves a nicely scuffed surface perfect for primer adhesion.
Kris Morgan
I have to agree with Bill 1,000% here. Comet/Ajax is also great to "scuff" textured parts during paint prep. It will give you some tooth for the primer to stick without losing any detail.
