I also decided to shave the fender trim since this is going to be a mild custom, I might shave the rear fender trim too but I'm not sure yet.

I figured I'd throw in a quick pic or two of the other Olds I'm working on since I'm building both of them simultaneously.

This update is much appreciated and VERY critical for those of us who would like to do a fast back version of the 50 Olds...... the key issue here is the cuts that Billy has noted....

Leave the rear fender trim, that makes a great point of reference & adds a little "flash" to the side view (also helps people recognize it as an "Olds".
