when i was modifying the chassis it went alright .. then i wanted to make custom wheels and after finishing i realised they didnt look like what i expected and well when i tryed to get them off all the steering linkage and the part that makes the hub steer broke off ..
so now í will have to either scratch some new stuff of use something from a cheap kit i hope to find
to be cointinued

and @ hak , yes but tbh i didnt have the right tyres in the parts box ..i have one nice set but thats for a future build
that racer is actually build with a bunch of scrap parts i had onlt a loose body with busted roof and just started building this to put on the truck
so i just had to wing it a bit with what i had and could come up with using some spare parts ...

atm i'm here > (loose set up)
changed the rims into these > gave the chrome a wash and some smoke and added ford hub caps ...
also altered some white walls to fit

and shortened it , i want to build a trailer so 2 cars can be hauled

one small step further >
needs a tiny bit of bondo on the sides of the chassis and the sides of the plate (where the trailer hools in > what do you guys call that over there ?????)
i'm in doubt on the chassis color , either metal grey or black ....

thnx
hard to take good pics of the black in the evening but i managed to get some resonable ones
cab and chassis got a satin black coat .. not done yet more to come

some parts in chrome

bit hmmmzz theme (bit overdone maybe?) but i always liked the grey / red / white wall combination and never did it on a model , so this was the perfect one to do it

i also bought this kit , its from 1977 and in mint condition and all sealed
weird thing is it says 1/25 but it all looks so small ?? anybody knows about this ??

yea I just posted about that in the obscure kits thread.. yea watch out for the painful small parts that brake easy on the suspension.. yea even as a little kid I remember that thing. I always thought ( as did my grand father ) it was more like 1:27 scale. I still have sealed the LIL John's delivery ( only thing diff was it had a 5 window sedan body with optional panel covers for the back side windows ) I build-ed both when I was young with granddad. and later the kit I have now is a ebay buy.
aah cool thnx !!
well not afraid for the small parts , i even dont know if i will build it straight out of the box , i may do some alterations
