Here are pics of a 40 Ford kustom i've just finished ...

Build to look like it would have been build circa '47 : top chop, hardtop, shortened side trim, 47 ford bumpers with tailites in the guards, fender skirts from amt 39 ford sedan kit, white walls and caddy sombreros from Modelhaus...







47 ford dash and sterring wheel , tuck n roll done with evergreen v-groove

Looks awesome! I love the look. New street rods are cool, but nothing can beat the elegance and simplicity of those old style rides.

I am also partial to the 40 Ford, having built one myself. The chopped top looks real nice and I like the windshield treatment!

Is that the dash from the 47? -- It fits right in there (and possibly looks better than the 40 dash)

No engine in this, as i only make curbsides models...and the 47 dash had to be shortened to fit ! i believe you can find one already shortened in RMCM's catalog...
