The Grotheer car runs what look like steel mud flaps on the rear wheelwells.

The Grotheer car runs what look like steel mud flaps on the rear wheelwells.


They keep the rubber, from the burn outs, off the bottom of the 1/4 panels. The Revell 69 Nova has decals, of the rubber build up.

They did that several other times for other cars or changing up the spelling then the builder corrects it. It is away around getting permission and licencing ...............

I had never noticed them before on any other Pro Stock car but it makes sense.

Got a little more done this weekend.
The motor is wired and finished the interior.
Have the wheel and tires picked out and got the headlights done.
Have a set of resin bumpers for it.

The Wheels are cool turned aluminum off Ebay.
The front tires are competition resin, the rears are from Reliable Resin.
