I don't know a whole lot about funny cars. I know a lot of them used dual magnetos like this
so if you were to run plug wires you'd have two wires per cylinder. On the hemis the plugs ran in a straight line. Next thing I suggest is braided hoses.
FuelLines I know there is a lot of things you can do

My biggest suggestion is to research research research

I don't mean to ba a smartarr, but you might have better luck finding info if you spell it P L U M B I N G.
Here's a pretty good pic. Single mag /single-plug heads

Do i have to drill to get the lines in. Right?

I'm guessing most detailers do drill the plug holes, makes it easier to tailor the wire lengths, at least it does for me when I'm doing wires.

Yep, drilling holes is a "Must".
For the distributor or magneto, drill one small hole for each wire, same thing in every other places. One big hole can make it easier to drill, but nothing more. It looks better when there are many holes too, much more realistic. I think you would get a lot more answers for this question in the Drag Racing Models-section. There are many talented builders, who will help you.
But here you go few pictures, to get started. http://www.pbase.com...s_funny_cars_bw
