Ed, when using the white glue for mock-up there is a couple of things you can do when you have a problem with it holding. First you can put some on a piece of paper and let it tack/thicken up and it will help to hold the part until it hardens completely. You also can use a hair dryer to speed up the process. One thing when you do a white glue mock-up is you can only glue a few parts at a time and let them completely dry before moving on.
Joe, those are tires I cast in resin from the Johan funny car kits. I don't really like the ones in the kit with the separate inner sidewall. Also alot of the ones in the kits are warped and hard to bring back true.

Ed, yeah you can't be in a rush when doing the white glue mock-up but it does locate problems before putting that paint on.
