Hi,

During the course of wet sanding with the graduated grits a few high spots and outside edges were rubbed down to primer. Very slight but will need some paint. What is the best way to do this? Try to airbrush just those areas, fill them with a brush? Or put another complete coat on? Hopefully one of the first two.

When I make a goof, I take a piece of paper and cut a hole roughly the same shape as the mishap and larger than the area that needs paint, hold it about an inch away and spray through the hole. It works perfect for me.

You can just touch up the spot, but you'll need to be very careful when you wet sand that area again so that it's even with the surrounding paint.

A 1:1 blending trick is shoot the first pass with tinned paint. Now mix 1 part paint to 1 part CLEAR, thin and spray off-edge then mix the clear in again at 1 to 1, thin and spray. The color mixed with clear will allow a blend that will cover slight differences in color...this sounds hard, its not..but use compatable clear with your color
