Yes, a very happy birthday to the Marines! My daughter is in a Marine Corps JROTC unit in High School and this morning they are marching in the Veterans Day Parade in Charlotte, much like her older brother did for 4 years before her!

Oh how happy I am to have spent another glorious day in the Marine Corps, where every day is a holiday and every meal a feast. God Bless my Drill Instructor and God Bless Chesty where ever he may be.

My favorite uncle when I was a kid growing up was a Marine in WW-II. So, Uncle Charlie, this is a shout out to you--93 yrs young and still going! Thank you for your service, and the fact that you (and your buddies) did what you did for then-little kids like me!
