Justin, sorry to hear about that, I wish you the best in finding

I have not bought any kits in the past few weeks, saving up to buy a lot at one time, but I got this today, a rack case, used, $60 from craigslist, first time, saved me about another $60 buying it used

Justin, Check your mortgage & credit cards(if you have them) to see if you have unemployment insurance on them. If so the insurance pays your bills while you are out of work providing you meet all of the unemployment offices requirements & get an unemployment check. It might not be as bad as you think if you have that coverage. It could sure be a big difference.
BTW you are the first person to recognize my Lithuanian heritage. Usually people guess Polish. It's a funny thing as I am only 25% Lithuanian, 75% Sicilian. I make the joke that since my Grandfather was a mailman he got caught with my Grandmother & it was either marriage or cement shoes & that is where the Lithuanian in my family comes from LOL

Lol. I'm 50% Lithuanian, 25% German, and 25% Irish. So I was born with a strong liver and a propensity for beer. :P Thanks for the advice though. I've talked with my mortgage company and they are willing to help me out. It's just difficult for me right now as this is the first time I've ever had to deal with it. Ah well. I'm sure this will only make me stronger, and hey, if my current company doesn't keep me aboard, I will work my ass off to ensure that they regret every minute of it. This motivation may be something I needed.

A new 2012 Honda Accord SE. I wasn't planning on buying a new car,but a couple of weeks ago a lady tried to go through the intersection I already occupied. We weren't moving very fast but it was enough to total my 97 Crown Vic.

Totally wicked! This could go straight into our 'obscure kits' thread.

Erik,
I noticed the other day that ModelExpress had this kit, are you the one that got it? You never know what Dennis will get in, which is why I check his site every day. About a week ago I got from him a strange little Gunze kit which included thee cartoon like Japanese figures and a Messerschmitt Kr-200. One of the figures was missing but since I'd bought the kit to get the Kr-200 it wasn't a problem.

Was that the show in shearwater today? Me and a co-worker wanted to go but we both had to work. I'd like to make it there some time.

yea it was in shearwater , you had to be there as soon as it opened to get the good deals it was kind of picked through but a few things caught my eye

Yes, from Dennis. Seems he got a nice load of Japanese kits in. I actually tried to buy that Lupin III kit you got - I have a few of the others in the series. Lupin III was/is a very popular cartoon character in Japan and Gunze made a number of kits including some of his "crew" and, in the case of the kit you got, the detective who is always trying to catch Lupin III.

I might have one I would trade. I may have stolen the Type R wing from it though.
If you're interested I will dig through my stash and look.
