What kind of car is that, looks pretty cool?  Any pics of the whole car?

1969 Plymouth Fury III Convertible (Or as we say in our Circles 27 Car).

Started with 2

 

Stripped and Parted out the Brown car due to severe structural issues and am currently restoring this one

 

Looked something like this until Sunday

A lot of guys would have ran away when they found the many things that I have, a lot might have sold it off or scrapped it, but not me, I don't scare easy and I'm stubborn, sometimes that's an advantage. The car owes me nothing and I truly love the design of these cars, they were truly beautiful when new and hopefully mine will be again in the near future.

I was going to say be careful with the TSP, as it can really do a number on the grass below, but it looks like that won't be an issue. 

 

Make sure you clean out the ductwork, especially around the blower motor resistor. Dry leaves and a hot electric coil do not play well together.

Heater rebuild is on my list of things to do this winter, trying to finish one job before I start another though. I've cleaned out whats seems to be about 35 years worth of tree's and leaves, found some odd stuff in odd places too.

Modelmartin/Aardvark Models resin Duesenberg "Mudd Coupe" conversion for the Monogram Duesenberg kits. I'm so excited to see ANYTHING aftermarket for a Duesenberg...but this car...wow. If Darth Vader had been around in the 1930s, he would have driven it.

I got the rods and pistons out if my 400 and in the scrap bin where they belong! Stock 400 rods are junk for perf use and the pistons had dishes the size of the grand canyon...and they're cast to boot! Pulled the crank as well. Anyone wanna build a 383 for cheap?

Went to Hobby Lobby and got some black embossing powder to the carpet in the next model and some black acrylic paint to do washes with.

2  Teardrop hoods from Competition Resin for a 1963-64 Galaxie showed up yesterday,,,,,and an AMT 55 Nomad along with a set of the decals to do the Scotto-Blevins car arrived between Christmas and New Year.

I got a new drill, circular saw, light, sawzall, 2 batteries, and a charger from Lowe's.  It's their brand - Kobalt.  Now, do I try and sell my old Craftsman stuff on ebay or try and trade the stuff here for kits?

I cant like Lowes/Kobalt because of Jimmie Johnson, although, I do like the double drive tools they have

after 37 hints, i did not get this for christmas. so i got it to celabrate my tigers beating the other tigers in their bowl game.



just got it off goodbay. so excited i could not wait 10-16 buisness days to post it on my table

Bought one myself last week, but I dont think I will have mine tell close to the end of the month, I bought three other kits at the sametime, but one was on backorder, so I am waiting to ship them all at the same time. Plus I have a pre order that is due this month as well, I have a feeling the shipping is going to be half of what I paid for all of them

A new coffee maker! Our old one made the morning coffee and died with a smell of burning electric wires. So not being folks who can do without our morning jolt, we ran out and bought a new Mr Coffee unit. Now here's the quandry...





I scratch built this coffee maker using my 1:1 as the pattern. Does that mean I need to scratch build the new one?
