The parking light lense you polished look great....would like to know what you had used on them....I am guessing Novus Products?

Good luck on both projects...

Cheers Don...

Believe it or not I stopped into a local Resto shop and asked one of the guys what they use, would you believe plain old Meguirs Scratch X 2.0

It worked it better than I thought, I did a few of the dash lenses as well.

I'm impressed with the way it worked to be honest.

Nick

Edit:

This is as close to a before shot I have of the dash lenses

I got a '68 Revell Firebird today. It is the Monogram boxing (2004?). Decals look good and the detail level is really good too. I have the Model Car Garage PE set.

You can keep the spray cans - just decant and you have pre thinned paint ready to spray. You can control how much comes out, now, and no more spray bombs.

I picked up a pair of real gems today from Mike at Hayes Hobby House, prepare to start drooling!

Both are VINTAGE AMT '32 Fords, in a box design I've never seen before. The Vicky has the grille glued into the shell, and the 427 is mostly built. There's some damage from the tires on a few parts, but nothing major on this one...

Here's the '32 Roadster, it's got no parts glued together, but the grille shell and the hood have tire damage...I'm still happy I got 'em!

I have multiples of these myself.....They were Ford Motor Company give aways....

There is a 36 Roadster / Coupe and a 25 "T" in this group also....

Don't know of any others, but that doesn't mean there weren't any....

Enjoy...

Picked up a new sprue cutter, some #11 blades, needle file set, and these:

Dremel Drill Press

And the parts to make a airbrush spray booth. Just missing a on/off switch and a filter. I'll get those tomorrow and throw the booth together tomorrow morning and test it. Can't wait!

Let me know how you like the Dremel drill press. I've been eyeing one for a couple years now.

Went to Hobby Lobby and used my 40% off on a can of Ultra Gloss Clear coat and my wife used one on the Prismacolor black marker. She also spotted the other 8 cans of spray paint when walking by the clearance section. Got 2 cans of Fabric Grey, 2 cans of Camo Grey, 1 light sea grey, 1 Black cherry pearl, 1 Burgundy red and 1 Citrus yellow metallic......each can was marked down to 2.22!!!! lol  On top of that she wants me to build another car for her using the Black cherry pearl, she wanted a 69 GTO so I won a kit from 1994 on Ebay for 16.00 shipped. Win win for me!! lol
