I like it. A footnote in Petty history. DK was a good journeyman driver, raced hard with what he had like many others back in the day.

for that race in 1986 dk made the field / petty didnt -it was gr8 of him to offer his ride to the king

I appreciate it - this car was an earnhardt car that i built years ago until it's unfortionate accident. My wife dropped it on the concrete garage floor when we cleaned my garage. I would have been mad but in a way she did me a favor, since I really was never a big earnhardt fan , but I am a diehard petty fan.
