You know them...at this time of year you've definitely seen them in more than one storefront window. Those annoying little holliday window decals called static cling decals.

I know they most like ly won't do compound curves very well, but I wonder how they would do as a paint mask on a large, relatively flat area? You know, cut the design out of an old window cling decal and use it as a mask for pinstripe or something?

If you use a static cling decal. Could you run the risk of the static, causing dust particles being attracted as well?

That could be a possibility, but i've never really seen a dusty one on a window. Something to think about though.
