can tinted plastic kit windows be polished without damage to the tint? I will be using flex-i-file 3n1 polishing stick.

Cast in tinted plastic- Yes

Aftermarket tint- No.

;) In other words, if the window came tinted, the plastic is cast in that color so it permeates the clear styrene all the way through. If you used say, testors window tint spray it's subject to the laws of sanding any clear spray with the added detraction of possibly winding up with it being unevenly tinted.

Instead of polishing it, you can just dip it in future and it will look like it has been polished.
