i've been collecting his cars...always liked him and his rides. I do have a sealed hooters car to do one day

Does the decal sheet have the any of the color parts of the paint scheme?, I always built the revellogram NASCAR kits, and only built handful of the AMT ones, I wasnt to found of the AMT kits

Nice work, so far...Love the paint booth....Love it....That's what I need....Never would have thought of that....I'm going to find me a huge box and go to town...Wow....The things I find on these forums....Thank you for inadvertantly giving me this collossal idea....    Seriously...Why didn't I think of that....

So just made a big move into a new house..finally got my modeling stuff set back up. here's some updates

Great start, not a fan of the AMT Nascars mainly due to scale. This is coming along well and i was a big fan of AK's.

Looks good so far. I built the Monogram version years ago. I have built several AMT cars and othe than the tires, have always liked the results.

Nice clean work so far, I really like the seat.  AK was one of the good ones, gone too soon.  I think he only had the Hooters sponsorship for one year?

I hope he didnt forget about this one, I want to see this one finished,  its making me want to start build some AK cars, have not done any yet, and dont know why

I have a few of Alan's kits too.

Monogram Rookie of The Year Quincy's Steak House as well

as the Racing Reflections custom issue Slight differences in the decals.

I have all 3 of the RR kit including the Hooter's.

I even have an after market Hooter's decal set.

I have Monogram's Plus kit of the Zerex and the Z version 87 T-Bird set.

I was surprised to get this AMT kit VERY Cheap off ebay!!

Nascar kits are dropping in demand and price.

 

I would like to build all the AK cars. I even have a Rev/Italeri Aeromax I want to

build as his transporter. But, I would like to find one molded in White as that blue is some what dark!!

 

I wonder how many championships he would have won had he not died so young!!

He sure showed the big teams something!!!
