I would help my family and a few close friends, donate a bunch to charity and then do everything in my power to minimize the amount of money the rotten greedy useless government could get their hands on. Screw redistribution on their terms.

I like your idea, too.

Pay off the bills. Buy a new Challanger or, Charger for the wife (plum crazy). Hook up some of my closest peeps. I would then buy a little cabin somewhere and, do nothing for about 6-8 months while everything sank in.

Simple; get a new set of arm rests for my truck, get a Lincoln Electric Mig Welder, and if I'm feeling really spendy, buy a 2 bay Heated Garage with enough ceiling clearance for a Ammco two-post hoist.

I would combine many of the statements here- Help family, start some businesses to help others, charity, car collection, new house, financial security, tax shelters.

I have worked with/for NAPA for years and I joke that I would buy a store and become a jerk owner just because I could!

It's nice to dream but in reality I would settle for 1/10th of the jackpot because $275 million would push me into a higher tax bracket! :D

Brilliant! I think that's one of the best ideas I've seen!

I seriously have a business plan ready. If I hit it, I'm doing it. If you hit, we need to talk.

One of the earlier posts (Craig Irwin) said 1929 would be like childs play. You all had your chance and blew it. If I won, I'd probably die of a heart attack knowing I was that rich. Buy a hockey team/go NASCAR racing/WOO racing. Who knows. If I survive the heart problems I know I'd be filthy rich and my kids and grand kids would be set for life...

After I remodeled my home, bought new furniture, set up my kids, bought a new car, made a trust for them, gave a bunch to my friends, then all the rest would go to charity. Because of my past, I would donate it to AA.

I'm not realy greedy. I'd rather fiix up my home, maybe put in a pool, instead of buying "the house on the hill and the boat in the bay" But a Drag Boat would be hard to avoid!

I'd quit my job, but other than that I doubt I'd do anything different- that's more money than I could ever possibly spend. On the other hand, my '67 Fury might stand a chance of being finished in something resembling a timely manner.

First I would take a lumpsome, and pay all tax's on it! I would then give money to Camp Boggie Creek to help Children with severe Illness's, and to the children's Hospitals. The I would setup Trust funds for my Children, and Grandson, where no one could ever spend the principle. Then I would build a new home, with plenty of room, and a large Hobby area including a dedicated Painting room, and a large garage of around 30k sq. feet, for my cars(I would make Jim a deal he can't refuse for my Sport Fury back). After that I would just enjoy my retirement collecting Hot Rods, Street Rods, and Mopar Muscle Cars, and building models of them!

I would probly leave the USA, it's not gonna be a safe place in the near future.
A well stocked, self sufficient place in the Irish countryside might work for me, I would have to get a copter...

Why would the US not be safe? People wanting your money or something else?
