Magnum-Kevin  ... how about casting some conversion parts for the upcoming Round2-via-MPC 1971 Demon 340 and its non-seq. predecessor 1975-76 Dart Sport ?

For instance :

1975-76 Dart Sport :

- 1973-1974 grille and tail light panel filler

- Three-spoke steering wheel (see the "S76" wheel in the attachment photo*)

- Bumper Guards (both styles ; '73-early '74 , and '75-'76)

- Clear tail light lenses

1971 Demon 340 :

- Bench seat

- Cassette player / microphone

- W11 Deluxe wheel covers

- 1972 grille

- Clear tail light lenses

"Generic" :

- Brake master cylinder

- Brake booster

- Interior "bucket" sans console

- 727 transmission

I am not discounting this kit, but right now i'm focussed on other things. There won't even be any concrete information on the Demon until early third quarter. At this time there isn't even any good info to share on mid year releases but I can tell you, I will be looking closely at conversion parts for the Petty Dart before thinking about the Demon. I will be looking into the Demon and it's variations when I have more information to work with. :)

Well  with all the resin Demons out there....It would be a no brainer to at least do the tub, bench seat and the wheel covers Coronet is talking about....As for the 72' grill....Missing Link may still have the master I sent them when I made it for the 72' That grill might become available again...The 72'-76' wheel covers are still available .....But the 70'-71' wheel covers would be great to have....I have a bunch of 70' and 71' Dodge's I would love to use those on.....I'd be buying 12 to 14 sets myself......Another wheel cover I'd love to see is the 71' Plymouth ones like the Valiant in the movie Duel .....And the 72'-76' style used one the Dusters,Scamps and Valiants......Those would be another 12 to 14 set purchase for me...I own alot of A-body Chrysler's.....Last count was close to 40.

I've already changed my mind and I am working on that stuff now. Let's please stick with the bare bones stuff I asked about in post #164 please. The W11's and the little dog dish caps will be available by the end of the month.

New suggestion:

Alloy wheels and side window louvers for 1978 to 1980 Volare Roadrunners, like on the car in this pic (it's a 1979):

79%20roadrunner.jpg

The problem with the MPC annuals is, that all years have the Mopar Rallye wheels. These are correct only until and including 1978. 79 and 80 need these aluminum wheels as the only choice.

Also, the side window louvers are horizontally ribbed starting in 1978. The MPC kits all have the vertical 1976/77 style.

So, currently the 1977 is the only kit that could be built correctly out of the box.

I know, the Volares don't grow on trees, but maybe there is a market for the parts.

I believe that you can lock this thread , Kevin . Go to "Manage Thread" (or something similar-in-name) and "lock" this thread .

I can't lock it because it was started by Jacen. I really don't want to lock it anyway, so i'll just walk away from it for a few days. I left you a pm by the way.

Yea. I like those. Think I need a set for an MPC 75 Road Runner Annual

I used the Mags & Snow tires on it!

Want to put the Stock Hubcaps/Rims back on now.

I have 2 of that 77/78 Monaco kit I built Back then!!

You won't believe what I used a set of those for.

Speaking of the Volare kits, given that Round 2 is going be bringing back the Demon, I'd love to see them bring back the '80 Volare...I have the 2 '77 kits and the '79, but not the '78 or '80 in my stash..

So...no interest in those wheels from Robert. <_< This thread is about resins, not Round2 or their releases. EDIT: I have to change that, without Round2's reissues we wouldn't be talking about half this stuff. I don't know where my head was at.

Does ANYONE have the twin four barrel setup from the '63 Chrysler 300 by Jo-Han they would be willing to lend for molding? Or any comparable manny from another Chrysler fifties/early sixties era?

EDIT: We are approximately twenty days away from ready to open! B) (cue the dancing banana!)

Is this what your looking for?
EdselFinished006-vi.jpg

If it is, PM me your address and I'll drop it in the mail for you. I also have the long ram manifolds and the Max Wedge exhaust manifolds.

Let me know....

I , too , am curious about the old US 10 shield .

Apparently it was an E-W highway which ran between Michigan and Idaho , or something like that ...

(yes , I'm one of those "highway geeks" :D ).
