I am going to start customizing this kit and was wondering how I would go about lowering it....I have been looking at it for a day or so, and just cant wrap my mind around what needs to be done.
On another note, has anyone ever chopped a big rig or customized this kit drastically? Would like to see any pics of anything custom done to this kit....thanks

Are you looking at the Revell snapkit or the Revell of Germany kit?

Try this lead: http://www.modelcars...wtopic=65014= I started one some months ago and haven't finished it. It might help you out some.

not the easyest of kits to lower. one option is to z the frame. another is to shave everything thiner for a slight drop. The front is just a matter of moving the mounting for the springs up on the frame. It depends on how drastic you want to go. Id say just stick it together dry and see where you can get some height.

I was looking at it and basically did what BigBad done, just took a little more off the front....and couldn't get anything done to the rear, but it sits pretty good. I didn't make the front look its best, but paint should cover it up. thanks
