Then I installed the body to the chassis. It fitted really nicely, no any kinds of problems with that. The engine bay parts, Inner Fenders etc fit perfectly to the body, too. Here are a few Pics.

Thanks guys for the kind comments, they always keep me going and make me trying to do better and better. ![]()
This will have a short break now, since I am waiting for the hood to dry so I can put decals on it and clear coat too. But when the Hood is cleared and polished, it will take a few hours to get this one finished. It should be there at some point next week.

Forget what I said on the last post. The hood was suprisingly dry this morning, and it looked so good that I gave it a little polishing, and added the decals. No need for clear coat. This is the last update before Finished pics, too. Then I installed few little details, only problems I had with the Grille and Front Bumber combination. They didn't fit at all, so you can see from the pics what I did for it. In the first pics it is as it came from the factory, last pic shows what I had to do for it. I just can't explain what I did for it in English, sorry guys.
But anyway, here are some pictures...

Thanks! I hope that this was interesting to follow, since I will start Richard Petty's Ford Torino very soon... ![]()

Excellent. I think you hit all the marks. Everything looks right. Those wheels man, I think they were worth the money.

Thanks Tony and Mike!
You are correct, the wheels really were worth the money. And actually they weren't too expensive either and I have few more sets of them waiting...

This looks very good! Engine details adn paint job looks really good. I think that this is one of the best builds what you've did so far. ![]()

Thanks Matti!
I agree with you, this is one of the best builds I've done. The engine detail is not as good as in some other builds, but the paint job is probably the best one to date. Now I will try to get bit better paint job for my '69 Camaro project...

Posted 18 March 2013 - 01:38 PM
looks great!!! i like the way it turned out.
Posted 18 March 2013 - 07:14 PM
Thanks for the kind comments!
Anne: The color on the transmission looks like Revell's #99 silver Enamel Paint. I can't remember surely if it is that paint, but it looks very close. I hope it helps. ![]()
