We've been having some problems with the server hosting our web site and forums. We think we now have them fixed. If you get any error messages from the site, please capture the message text, and the time it occurred, and send me a PM.

Thanks,

Dave Ambrose

Yeah Dave...  I couldn't get on to the Forum about a half hour ago.  Google Chrome advised that it could not find the website.  I didn't know until I was finally able to get connected that you needed the error messages.   Sorry.

I had a similar problem yesterday, but mine said it was something with my provider and not the forum itself.  I found that odd though since all other sites worked fine.  So far though everything has worked well since then.

I'm having trouble posting photos for some reason. When I touch the image icon, the page turns gray and won't let me do anything.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr......!!!!!!   I just spent about an hour composing a new topic for posting "On the Workbench" about a WIP 1965 Ramble American I've been working on for a week for a friend, to make a model of his 1:1 car.  I had over a dozen photos added from my Photobucket of all the work done so far.   I proof read everything and hit Post New Topic...  I then read through it all and looked at all the pictures to be sure it all looked OK.  I came back to the Forum a few minutes later and NOTHING WAS THERE FROM MY POST......!!!!!!  This is really aggravating, especially after spending so much time on the post, and doing everything right......!!!!   I really don't want to have to do it all again...  I'm so P.O'd....

I understand what you're saying Greg.....   But......  And I understand that "stuff" happens to screw things up occasionally......But......  Why should we have to go through this aggravating stuff in this wonderful electronic cyber age we live in......

Fix the darn server already so these problems don't keep happening....  I know.... I know....  I'll calm down.....    When my blood pressure calms down I'll try to get around to recomposing my WIP post and hopefully (??????  <_< ) it might work properly this time..... ;)

No error message. But if I make a post over four or five sentences, it only posts half of what I actually wrote.   That happened twice yesterday.

Hear Ya Rich ! I usually like to make a post up on clipboard if I have a bunch of links / images as the odds are I screw something up and the whole thing is a mess. Looks like Dave is on this one!

I thought Gregg paid good money to have a nice working forum server host?

So here's an odd one: When I open a thread, read it, and try to use the back button to go back to the listing, I have to press it several times as it seems to load up the thread 3-5 times. So I have to navigate back through 3-5 versions of the thread before I get back to the listing. Not sure what's up with that...

Google Chrome on Windows 7.

Allright, someone needs to do something to correct these problems. I'm not getting any kind of error message but I'm tired of having to do things twice just to get my post entered. I add the text and photos and hit submit and all I see is the green loading bar moving but not loading. I then have to copy what I just posted and back out of the thread and then go back in and paste what I entered and hit submit again. At that point it usually works, but why should I have to do this every time, over the past few weeks.

Fix the problem already!!!!!

P.S., it's not my computer or my server, it's this site.

And just so everyone knows, I had to attempt this post twice to get it to load.

I wholeheartedly agree with you Wayne......  I know that "the powers that be" in charge of this Forum, and helping to run this Forum, are probably just as aggravated and frustrated as ALL OF US ARE about all the recurring problems with the Server (or whatever else is causing all the issues)... but......as you said Wayne...

FIX THE PROBLEM ALREADY...!!!!!!

I can't sign in on my computer, only on my cell phone.
When click over the sign in on the upper right corner, nothing happens, so open it in a new window and enter my nick and password, but when click on sign in a small window appears that says, * No sign in name *
no matter what I do, the site don't let me sign in.
As recommended by Harry I instaled the latest Firefox version (17.0.1) with Windows XP, but still can't sign in.
This is the only site that I have troubles with.
Please help !!

I still can't figure out how to post new photos. Is there a reason the image button doesn't work anymore ? Like others have said the screen just goes gray.
