Back on my computer, no toolbar for Smiley. How do I get this back? I can't post pictures the normal way either. http://i1181.photobu...vw/DSC04199.jpg

I don't know what the "normal" way is, but copy and paste the "{IMG}......." image code/link under the image, and you don't need to depend upon anything else to get your image to be visible.

Thanks Casey, I like the other options better with the tool bar using the little box  that looks like a Poloroid picture, then pasting code.  Any way, it's back with Google Chrome.  Thanks again.  :)

Thank you for all your input. We ran into some problems with our host system. Those are fixed, and so far, I don't see any evidence that they've happened again. I'm still working on finding the root cause, and unfortunately, not having much luck so far.

If you're still having trouble with the forum, please try clearing your browser cache and revisit the page. Our earlier problems might have delivered corrupted pages to your computer. This will clear them. If this solves your problem, please let me know. Also, please let include the time and date when you experience problems. It lets me correlate your problems with other information.

Thanks,

Dave Ambrose

Can anyone explain how come when I use the backup button to return FROM a post TO the main page ( such as the workbench main page) I have a black box that says Loading... and it won't go away. At times I'll have two or three depending on how many times I've backed up. It has been happening for about the last month or so.

Later-

One problem I've had recently has been the occasional appearance of code characters throughout my text when I've entered or edited a reply post -

<  >  ]  [ %%, etc., and I have to start over because I can't fix it by reloading or any other means.

Tom and Skip,

What browsers are you using?

Tom and Skip,

What browsers are you using?

I have to use Safari - the only major one that still works with my old Mac OS X 10.4. Firefox, Google Chrome and most others don't support that OS. I can't even use Photobucket or Fotki anymore until I upgrade, which is not in the near future.

Tom, is this happening on your iPhone? I have the same issue and I think it's an Apple glitch with the App itself. I have the Firefox Home App on my phone and it's not an issue for some reason when I use that for this site.

I'm pretty sure this isn't a supported browser. Sorry. I'll check with board support, but I'm not optimistic.

Being able to post replies lasted only one day .  On Thursday ( 21st ) I had to go back to using " More reply Options " to post .  not really a big deal and I can live with it .  Unfortinately trying to start a new topic is nearly impossible .  It still takes two or three tries before it will post .

Yesterday I received the following error message several times .

I had that for a while, too. I think the forum was down for adjustment.

Whatever the fix was, it didn't work as I'm still having to attempt posts at least twice to get them to apply. I have tried resetting my browser and exiting out of the site and re-entering and this had no effect on resolving the problems.

Okay--------this is becoming REALLY FRUSTRATING!!! I accidentally hit the "Change Forums" button to read in IP Mobile format.......and NOW I CAN'T CHANGE BACK TO THE REGULAR FORMAT!!

I hate the plain font this only gives you and it makes it VERY DIFFICULT if not impossible to post pics with this layout!

Can someone PLEASE fix this??

Can't post pictures either. When I click on the image icon the whole page goes gray & can't do anything.

Here's a problem that I frequently run into on this forum. Copied, pasted, edited for size and color and all the other editing tools available here, and cannot be corrected using forum tools:

<blockquote class="ipsBlockquote" data-author="A.R.C." data-cid="847627" data-time="1357075632">
<p><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">The insane prices of &quot;collectible&quot; cars of any type can`t be blamed on anyone other than the buyers that are&nbsp;silly enough&nbsp;to pay ridiculous amounts, thus driving the prices through the roof.
