This is still glitchy and PB doesn't work the way it used to. Let's see if I get the right image...

.Just go to the bottom field and click on the link, which will automatically copy it.

You have to have the "highlight link when you click it" option selected in your preferences, as it does not automatically happen in PB.

Photobucket (which I just found today works for me again, after a couple of months of inaccessibility) works for me exactly the way I stated it and showed it above. I don't have to highlight anything. I click on the IMG link, the word Copied replaces the link in that field, and I'm good to go.

It also provides an alternative approach, which is simply to click on the thumbnail, which brings up a page like that below (I'm using the forum's attachment on this one), with the link fields to the right. Just click on the IMG field and it's automatically copied.

Casey, I just went to my PB account, and all the link settings have already been checked for me. I didn't do it myself, so I assumed it was part of the service. You'll notice at the bottom of the link box in the image above that you can click on "Update Link Options." This takes you to a page where you can select the types of links you want displayed in the box.

I see. It might be part of the "new" PB look/updates, as I recall having to check that option years ago in one of my PB accounts. to get the link to be highlighted (highlit?) with a mouse click.

Had you been using the "old" look PB when you were having access problems, or were you never able to change to the new look until you were able to log in today?

I lost access when they switched to the new look, causing the screen to go blank every time I tried to log on.  They must have done some adjustments in the last few weeks that made it possible for me to log on again. When they first changed, they told me they no longer supported my old Mac OS X, but now there's no problem, just a different process for using the site.

I get the same exact message every so often. In fact I got it today about the same time you did.

The thumbnail that I posted above is the only photo post method that I could get to work. When I try the image button, I get the dreaded gray screen lockout. How do you do a fullsize photo?

Thanks,

I still can't figure out how to post new photos. Is there a reason the image button doesn't work anymore ? Like others have said the screen just goes gray.

I used to be able to attach pics to new posts, but cant now. why? I dont visit here that often, maybe Im not welcome to begin with.

Can you log off the forum, then back in, and see if it's changed back?
