Beautiful build. I've never been a fan of diecasts but this model is changing my mind about the possibilities of working on these things.
Well done !

Nice to see a gas class car actually built to NHRA rules. There are far too many model "gassers" out there that are just loose interpretations of the term.
Well done!
+10 on THAT!!!
Well done my friend...a heck of a save and very nice, precise modifications! You should be very proud of that car!

Yeah I have to agree. ....Even if I'm a guy who has built many of those "Gassers". But where to get the rules? Personally I have absolutely No Idea about these Old Rules, and I bet someone else has this kind of problem too. That's why we, or at least I, build "Gassers" instead of Gassers. ![]()

This is an awesome car and the paint just glows!! Is that HOK?
One of my favorite builds on this site that I have seen so far!
If this was a Kit I would buy it in a second!!
Great Job!

Cliff,
You nailed it ! This is the kind of build AND builder that impresses me because, actual THOUGHT and RESEARCH was invested to make an accurate replica of the times !
Well done !

Now-a-days, thanks to the internet, I find it relatively easy to find info like this on a Google search. You sometimes have to reword the search a couple of times to get the info you need but usually it's out there somewhere.
