K1 Brazil , are you planning to build this as a United States model or as a Brasilian model ?

Looks like you are having fun with your build , Felipe !
I have always liked the Brasilian Dart models , especially the 1973 model . I really like the gold-coloured engines (silver-coloured some years ?) .

looks like your off to a good start but you forgot to paint the engine bay
(mopars were the only ones with enough class to paint the engine bay body colour instead of just painbombing it black)

looking good has nothing to do with rules (thoug life is a lot harder on those who do not grasp the concept of them)
iether way, it is your model and you can make it look as realistic or as toying or as factory or as era correct or as abused as you would like
i just tought i'd inform you of the way these ma mopar thought these cars should look

ive always been a big fan of having the engine bay painted, specially on cars that came like that from the factory
you ever see a car that has been repainted?
we have these really cheap body shops here that advertize thier $299 special to repaint a car but they dont do a proper job at it
you open the door and the doorjambs are a different shade then the rest because they didnt take the time to do it right
thats how i feel when i see a car with a black engine bay
now, if i were to build a stock chevy the engine bay most likely would be black because thats the way they came off the line
but if i were to build a show car chevy it would be matched to the body
specially if you manage to get the paint to look as good as yours does its a shame not to do the engine bay
but like you said, it is your model and you can build it however you want
hey, you even get to make up the story behind it...maybe the guy who owns it grew up on chevies but wanted a real muscle car and so he bought a dodge and painted the engine bay black so as not to upset his dad who is only used to black engine bays ![]()
