They seem to be most common in boats around 50' in length, but I've seen one on a 30' Chris Craft. Ford also sold this engine as a stand alone power unit.

This swap may seem odd but after the war, a lot of trucks were re-powered with flathead Ford tank engines. They were gas powered and could hall butt.
