Anyone know of any model clubs on the south side of chicago? Any other modelers from the Evergreen/Oak Lawn area?

Try the Lake Michigan Model Car Club and I believe they're in the Bensenville area.

bensenville is all the way on the other side of the known world to a born and raised south sider. id be afraid id fall off the earth if i went all the way up there, do they still speak chicagoan there?

I stand to be corrected as the Evergreen/Oaklawn area is pretty far from Bensenville. Offhand I don't know of any model car clubs in or near your area.

You got that right!!!! I joined that club...I'm in northwest Indiana, talk about a long ride to get to a meeting!!! LOL!! Uhmmm, there's alot of hillbilly lingo up there!!! LOL!!! Geez...I fit right in.... ![]()

Sorry man, I don't. I'd like to talk to guys at G&G Hobbies in Griffith, Indiana. That's not too far from the south burbs. They've been talking about it, need to light a fire under em!!! LOL!!!

The president of LMMCC lives in Oak Lawn. There are members who come from the south suburbs such as Frankfort. And there are members who come from Northwest Indiana.

Maybe you should contact him and see if you could meet up and share the ride? Great way to make a new friend and save some gas & toll money.
