Makes me cold. Here's a tip Woodland Senics makes a snow powder that is really nice. It should be in the model railroad section of your LHS, or you can get it through Walther's.com

Simple, but effective.

 

The large granules (did you use salt?) suggest heavy, wet snow.

nice dio. If you want to see what the Woodland scenics snow looks like check out Chevy in the snow, its at the bottom of page one. They also have a video demo of how to use the stuff on their website.

So, what did you use? As Charlie put it, it does make the snow look heavyand wet.
