trying to drop a 427 cammer into a 66 fairlane. well, its just one of those things that no matter what i do, its just not sitting right in the frame. so, how much different is the front half of the 68 Shelby 500 frame to the fairlane frame? can i get away with that swap? or any other suggestions will be appreciated.

haha, your asking me to remember, Rob........ it was actually getting it low enough for hood clearance. i trimmed soooo much off of the frame, including suspension stuff, that it may be an easier fix just to swap fronf frames. i will have to check it out again to give you more detail on the damage.......................... inless someone has an extra frame laying around.
