A real standout 55, Pete. The yellow takes it over the top; perfect choice of color.

Pete,
Looking at what you have accomplished with this kit, I must say that it is the best rendition of this kit I have seen. The only thing i would change is the lettering on the slicks from yellow to a more period correct Blue Streak. I do get the yellow theme though.
I like it!

The finished product is still pretty cool even after all these years…
That is exactly right Pete! That is a very nice build! I can't wait to get mine and build it.

VERY very nice! This was always one of my favorite builds from the 70s I did. I did one as the box art, and one in a fantasy racer. They were lost in a recent move, and I hope very much to get another one soon.

Awesome build. I'm building one of these myself as a flipnose with a 409. This is a great inspiration.

Thanks to all for taking time to comment...
As requested earlier in the thread, here's a pic of the undercarrige. Nothing compared to the level of detail offered in today's kits...but simplicity and ease of assembly made the kit "fun" to build. The only thing that required a little effort was working the seam down the middle of the engine and trans.

This probably has to be the nicest build of this kit I've seen, you've made it a standout. Very nice!

Great paint. I really want to build something lifted with a straight axle. This thing rocks..

Nice clean build of a great old classic!!! I personally don't care for the yellow tire lettering, but everything else is spot on!
