Hi.....this my 1/24 tribute Diorama to those that are not with us today . It's not a matter of world history , its a matter living the moment that will never be forgotten . Two years ago I was at New York at the design exhibtion for the future and new buildings that would replace the World Trade Center . And believe me, none of them were at my agreeable . If I would of been the person responsible to choose the new skyscrapers , I would of done the same World Trade Center structures with no changes at all......PERSISTENCE is the power of glory....Barbo http://s123.photobuc...85/FL000002.jpg http://s123.photobuc...85/FL000004.jpg

Nice work, Barbo! And I agree with ya, the only thing that should be built where the twin towers stood, are the twin towers.

Hi Barbo,

great tribute. I also build a diorama as a tribute to people how died at 911. When I had build build had problems to show it to modellers from the US, specially residents of New York. It shows a NYPD car cover with dust, stones and paper. The original picture was from taken copcar.com

Here it is http://public.fotki....-1/9112001.html

Hi..carsntrucks4you...I know its not easy , some people think that it is not a good way to remember , but it is part of our nation history . Life must go on , and modelers like us are also part of histrory with our models .....Keep up the good work..........Be Happy.....Barbo

Nice. It brings back childhood memories 4 me. I grew up in NYC and I remember going up to the Observation deck in the towers a few times and looking out over the city.

Hi....FlatbedKW...I did the same thing many times , I was born in New York , then moved to Puerto Rico when I was 14 years old , going back to New york for vacations every two years with my parents , made me feel as if I never left New York...do you remember how it felt to be at the Observation deck , they would move with the wind. I can close my eyes , think about it , and still feel the movements.........Above and Beyond..........Barbo.
