[Nick Winter]

Started this one November 21 2010, yeah over 2 years ago. Anyway been working on finishing it.

 

What I started with

 

Some progress

 

After paint, old bed shown

 

as it sat when I pulled it back out of the box a month or so ago

And now the new Progress:

 

Scratchbuilt an all new bed.

 

Added a set of mud flaps made of real rubber.

 

Added a set of parts box gas caps for those dual tanks

Nice truck!

I always wanted to build a wrecker,but the boom and all the cables kind of scare me.

I don't know that much about them.

Thanks, I mearly searched out as many photo's of the 1:1 counter part and was lucky enough to find a similar design wrecker in a scrapyard to which I was able to run the cables out by hand and see how it worked (the PTO was disengaged)

 

Cleared a few and have gone back tinkering.

 

added the visor to cover the top edge of the glass were the issues are, also started working on the Holmes 480 Twin Boom Mechanical Sling wrecker.
