what are the basic tools in designs to build a basic engine mount/stand?? thanks to all in advance

just some old beams and a welding torch ...

 

 

Not being smart, this was just a stand I did to look like a homemade. I wasn't completely sure exactly what you were looking for.

 i think it should support the engine & transmission on their respective mounting points. unfortunately, that may dispell the "one size fits all" theory.
