Well, the Starliner is in the pond getting stripped. I just didn't like the signwriting..( I have cunning plan to do it another way ) but as a slumpbuster I thought I'd build a Gasser.

Ive Googled 50 Chev Pickup Gassers and found nothing...So this is all from the imagination...wish me luck.. :-)

Excellent! This looks very good to me, always nice to see more Gassers. There will never be enough of them. Perfect stance and nice wheel choice. I will be watching this one.

Decided to open up the drivers door on the cab. I scratch-built the doors inner structure and the cab door surround. 

 

and then opened up the vent as well.

 

 

slow progress but having heaps of fun.. :-)

Since I will display with the door open , I needed to make hinges etc. ( They are none functional..but have given me enough confidence to try it for real next time.)

 

I then fabricated the passenger door, jambs complete new floor and internal structure of the body.
