I think that is just a car with an unfinished paint job. Not a Rat Rod

Rods are '48 and earlier.

I think the correct tern for this is a "Beater".Kinda reminds me of the junkers on GTA IV.

I just want to know what happened to this car?

Nah you guys are all wrong, the guy was trying to polish his car, but he forgot to replace the sanding disk on his power tool...

Builder says it was done because no one else has the gonads to do it. I think it's more like no one else is stupid enough; supposedly a $150,000 car.

At least it doesn't look like the love child of a '69 Camaro and a rubber door stop anymore. Wait, no, it still does... ![]()

That really just looks bad. Why would you do that?

I like rat rods. I like patina'd rods. I like beaters, works-in-progress, whatever you want to call them.
But this is just pointless. I dearly hope this turns into a $150,000 turkey he can't sell.

LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMEEEEEEEEEEEEE

That might be cool if they had done a decent job on the "paint". Something more like this.

What could possibly get a late-model Camaro to $150K? Is it a Lingenfelter twin-turbo with gold plated foot pedals?
Posted 27 December 2012 - 07:58 AM
Great. They don't look good new, and won't improve with age.

I was wondering about the 150k also. Did they pour 100k down the exhaust pipes ?
